Request deletion of your personal data from our platform

Your Right to Data Deletion

At FERKAR, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data from our platform, you can do so at any time using the methods described below.

How to Delete Your Data

Method 1: Delete Through Your Account Settings

  1. Log in to your FERKAR account
  2. Navigate to your account settings or profile page
  3. Look for the "Delete Account" or "Account Deletion" option
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm the deletion
  5. Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted

Method 2: Request Deletion via Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to request deletion via email:

  1. Send an email to info@ferkar.org
  2. Include the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  3. Provide your account email address or username
  4. Include any additional information that can help us identify your account
  5. We will process your request within 30 days

Method 3: Facebook/Instagram Data Deletion

If you connected your account using Facebook or Instagram and wish to delete data associated with those platforms:

  1. Visit Facebook's App Settings: facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
  2. Find FERKAR in your connected apps
  3. Click "Remove" or "Delete" next to FERKAR
  4. Alternatively, use our data deletion callback URL (see below)

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request data deletion, the following information will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Your account profile information (name, email, username)
  • Your course enrollment records
  • Your quiz attempts and scores
  • Your forum posts and comments
  • Your payment history (anonymized records may be retained for legal/compliance purposes)
  • Your preferences and settings
  • Any uploaded content or files

Note: Some data may be retained for legal or compliance purposes, such as transaction records required for accounting, but will be anonymized and not associated with your identity.

Processing Time

We will process your data deletion request within 30 days of receiving it. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. Please note that once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered, and you will need to create a new account if you wish to use our services again.

Important Notes

  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • You will lose access to all purchased courses and content
  • Any certificates or achievements associated with your account will be removed
  • If you have active subscriptions, they will be cancelled
  • We may retain certain anonymized data for analytics and legal compliance
  • If you have pending payments or disputes, deletion may be delayed until resolution

If you're using Facebook or Instagram login and want to delete your data through their platform, you can use our data deletion callback URL:

This URL can be configured in your Facebook App settings for automatic data deletion requests.
